چکیده

One of the most pressing issues in wireless sensor networks (WSNs) is energy efficiency. Sensor nodes (SNs) are used by WSNs to gather and send data. The techniques cluster-based hierarchical routing significantly considered for lowering WSN’s consumption. Because SNs battery-powered, face significant constraints, problems an energy-efficient protocol designing. Clustering algorithms drastically reduce each A low-energy adaptive clustering hierarchy (LEACH) promising application-specifically architecture WSNs. To extend network's lifetime, must save as much feasible. proposed developed load-balanced (DCLP) considers number ideal cluster heads (CHs) prevents nearer base stations (BSs) from joining realization accomplishing sufficient performances regarding reduction consumed energy. analysis comparison MATLAB LEACH, a well-known protocol, its modified variant distributed efficient (DEEC). simulation results demonstrate that network performance, usage, longevity have all improved significantly. It also demonstrates employing protocols may successfully consumption while increasing quantity data transfer, hence achieving goal extending lifetime.

An Adaptive LEACH-based Clustering Algorithm for Wireless Sensor Networks

LEACH is the most popular clastering algorithm in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). However, it has two main drawbacks, including random selection of cluster heads, and direct communication of cluster heads with the sink. This paper aims to introduce a new centralized cluster-based routing protocol named LEACH-AEC (LEACH with Adaptive Energy Consumption), which guarantees to generate balanced cl...
